Title:  Rate Sheet Designer

Location:  Orange County, CA & positions in US

Your specific duties will include:

• Building rate sheets and matrices for various investors nationwide
• Building and linking rates for clients nationwide
• Maintaining rate sheets and matrices for investors nationwide
• Preparing and distributing rate sheets daily by posting deadlines
• Assisting with rate sheet and product matrix development
• Modifying rate sheets and matrices intra-day if necessary
• Confirming the clients’ profit margins pursuant to their instructions

Your general skills and attributes must include:

• Computer proficiency including Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Windows, and Adobe Acrobat
• The ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, where you must regularly “switch gears” from one type of task to another
• The ability to communicate well with our clients and internal staff, either in writing or by phone
• Patience to explain procedures to clients who know less than you
• Accuracy, precision, and care as you work with loan criteria and numbers that create thousands of dollars of income for companies and individuals

Duties and responsibilities:

Job duties include designing, building, & producing rate sheets in Excel for mortgage companies nationwide. Responsibilities also include posting and disseminating daily rate sheets for access by clients & their designated recipients, updating/maintaining client rate sheets as needed, & providing clients with quick turnaround for changes they may request. Confirming clients’ profit margins in writing and assuring profit margins are included in posted rates.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of rate sheet design experience.  Must be very proficient in Excel, proficient in Outlook & Adobe Acrobat 6.0 or higher and willing to learn proprietary rate sheet design software.  In addition, must have broadband access to internet & be able to move from one client investor site to another quickly. Applicant must be efficient & very detailed conscious as accuracy is extremely important. A mortgage background is preferred.  Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem-solving ability and an aptitude for math, which includes calculating percentages and use of fractions.
